When we first formed the company in May 2004, we outsourced the manufacturing of our Outdoor Televisions. Even at that that time we built a high-quality Outdoor TV, we quickly realized that it was impossible to build a television with the same dependable, modern look and latest technology as companies like Samsung, Sharp, and LG (to name a few). We did not want to be design or build a bulky sealed enclosure nor did we want to offer a heavy-duty metal product that looks like a commercial enclosure and does not look attractive in a residential backyard.
So, in order for a small company to build an affordable product, as compared to the larger brands manufacturing TVs we partnered with them to provide Outdoor TVs using their proven parts. As we constantly strived to improve our products and continue to be the Outdoor TV Technology Leader, we felt that we could always provide State of the Art Outdoor TVs that have all the latest technology by partnering with brand names and utilizing their platforms to manufacture the Best Outdoor TVs available.
By partnering with brand name TV manufacturers that already contained the latest and most advanced technology and continue to do so every year, MirageVision has been able to manufacture and sell the latest technology offered by the best TV brands. Companies such as Samsung, Sharp, Vizio and LG (to name a few) create the best picture image, include the latest features, and design the most attractive televisions. Other manufacturers can’t achieve what we have by making a bulky, heavy, industrial looking enclosure, as this is the way other outdoor televisions are still made in 2025. In 2008, we started manufacturing with brand name TV platforms and invented a process that involves and enhancing the picture quality by calibrating our TVs for outdoor viewing. We have a unique way of weatherizing and cooling with our convectional airflow technology and ventilation system. In addition, we were the first to create a special process that includes protecting the internal circuitry and speakers, using our proprietary KryptoShield hydrophobic sealant. KryptoShield protects the internal circuitry so our Outdoor TVs are impervious to moisture, corrosion, dust, and pesky bugs that are attracted to the light and heat.
Our TV's have been time tested in one of the hottest, arid climates on the planet-- Las Vegas, Nevada. Our Outdoor TVs can withstand sub-freezing temperatures up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. We also have created a unique, adjustable, membrane cover to protect the inputs and outputs of our Outdoor TVs that allow the installer or user to access the I/O without removing the Outdoor TV from the wall when mounted.
After years of working together, Samsung approached us to work on a line of Commercial Displays for outdoor use. We are the only authorized company allowed to modify Samsung’s line of commercial displays for outdoor use and today, we are still an Authorized Samsung Reseller.
