How does onsite service work?

Onsite service is available in all major metropolitan areas. Within one business day of your service request, a technician will perform a remote diagnostic to identify the issue. If needed, replacement parts will be ordered via overnight shipping to allow for a one-visit repair.

If a remote diagnostic is not possible, an onsite technician will be dispatched within two business days to assess the issue. Repairs will be completed as soon as the necessary parts arrive. In cases where the TV is deemed unrepairable, a full replacement will be issued.

  • Plans cover failure during normal use of the product.

Additional Details

  • Shareware Product Protection contains a limit of liability value set at the cost of the device (less tax and shipping) at the time of purchase. Shareware will pay to replace/repair the device up to or at that limit.
  • If a device is deemed unrepairable, a replacement product or cash settlement will be offered, value at or below the cost of the original device and the coverage plan will be fulfilled.
  • Safeware Product Protection does not transfer to replacement devices, therefore a new plan must be purchased for additional coverage to the manufacturer warranty.
  • Shareware Product Protection plans do not cover maintenance or consumables. Consumables are defined as any part or item that is considered consumable by the manufacturer, or any item that is designed to be consumed (wore out) during the life of the device, regardless of if it is replaceable by the consumer or not.

Exclusions and limitations apply. See Terms and Conditions for complete coverage details including exclusions, limitations and providers. Terms and Conditions avaliable upon request.
