Our Mega-Picture Enhancement Technology (MPET) calibration allows us to enhance picture-image quality when viewed outdoors. We are the first company in the world (since 2004) to offer name brand TVs made for outdoors. Our Super High Bright (name brand) models are the brightest Outdoor TVs in the industry (over 2,500 Nits with some models 3,000 Nits).

MirageVision TVs are not waterproof! Waterproof means the TV will operate under water! Don’t be fooled by some Chinese Companies exporting their Outdoor TVs into the USA, stating their TVs are 100% Waterproof, as this couldn’t be farther from the truth! Our MirageVision TVs are water/weather resistant and designed to resist normal downward rain, snow, dust and humidity. Our TVs have been made to operate permanently outdoors…Not underwater!

The MirageVision TV's internal circuitry and components have been coated with our special KryptoShield nano-coating application, coupled with our proprietary vortex 12 volt fan system that helps protect the internal circuitry from moisture and corrosion.

We accomplish this by covering existing vents, except for the vents at the very bottom of the TV so that the audio speakers aren’t covered and are fully audible. On our larger TV models that require more ventilation, we have incorporated an internal and external fan system that constantly operates a 12 volt fan system that creates a steady vortex airflow within the TV cabinet, this helps to dissipate moisture and humidity. We have also created a special RainGuard(tm) material that allows easy access to the TVs inputs while it repels rain or snow from getting into the inputs of the TV. This process is crucial to prolonging the life of any outdoor TV.

Yes, the MirageVision TV is warranted (directly from us, not the donor TV manufacturer) for (1) year parts and labor (depending on the model and the application) and an optional extended warranty up to additional (2) years available depending on the model and application.

Unlike competitors who build their Outdoor TVs in Asia using components from unknown sources that may not include the latest technology available, we only use top-tier, name-brand TV platforms built in North America. We manufacture our "Made in America" MirageVision Outdoor TVs at our headquarters and manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since 2004, we have pioneered outdoor TV technology and always use name-brand TV platforms always made with the best components. Absolutely. Viewing a screen in full sunlight is the ultimate test for an outdoor TV. Our Platinum Series Full Sun models are among the brightest in themarket, pushing over 2,500 Nits SUSTAINED (with some models reaching 3,000 Nits). Combined with our proprietary MPET calibration—which optimizes Color, Brightness, Sharpness, Contrast, and Gamma—our TVs are up to 10x brighter than standard indoor TVs. This ensures the picture "POPs" even when the sun is at its peak.

DO NOT LET ANYONE LIE AND TELL YOU they manufacture an IP55 Rated WATERPROOF TV; it's IMPOSSIBLE. An IP55 Ingress Protection Rating means a TV is designed for outdoor use, offering high protection against dust and water jets. However, products with an IP55 rating are not waterproof. MirageVision TVs are highly water and weather-resistant, meaning they are designed to permanently live outdoors and resist heavy rain, snow, dust, and humidity. They are not waterproof, meaning they cannot be fully submerged underwater. Be wary of brands claiming to be 100% waterproof—our TVs are built to withstand the realities of Mother Nature safely and reliably, not to be thrown in a pool.

Indoor TVs that are used Outdoors will break due to internal corrosion. How does a MirageVision Outdoor TV withstand the corrosion of the internal electronics due to salt spray, high humidity and heavy rain?

We protect the TV from the inside out using a specialized three-pillar system designed to combat the harshest environments:

• KryptoShield™ Nano-Coating: We treat all internal circuitry and components with our proprietary KryptoShield™ process. This creates a microscopic barrier that protects sensitive electronics from the corrosive effects of salt air, sea spray, and extreme humidity.
• Climate Control: We use a proprietary vortex system that creates a steady airflow within the cabinet where we want the airflow to actively dissipate heat within the cabinet.
• Sealed Architecture: The TV cabinet is sealed shut where it needs to be with industrial-grade, electronics safe waterproof compound that ensures rain and dust from entering the chassis, yet we have our vortex system exchanging the hotter air inside the cabinet with cooler outside fresh air.

We offer a 1-year parts and labor warranty (in factory), with optional extended warranties available for a 2nd Year or 2nd & 3rd Year warranty.
